Requirements

  • Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • P.Eng considered an asset
  • Intermediate to advanced user within CMMS system (Oracle eAM 12.2 preferred, SAP, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret P&ID drawings (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and continuously improve an Asset Management Plan, including a Risk Management Plan, Asset Operating Plan, and Asset Maintenance Plan
  • Accountable for the deployment, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of all Oracle eAM 12.2 Master Data
  • Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other problems affecting plant operations (availability, performance, capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance)
  • Perform RCFA on unscheduled delays exceeding threshold criteria, track action items, complete effectiveness evaluations, and drive resolution
  • Evaluate and implement CBM technologies and PdM where applicable (acoustic emissions, alignment, dynamic balancing, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, oil analysis, ultrasonic, vibration analysis)
  • Support the capital project process and collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Projects to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations
  • Contribute to planning of production capacity based on analysis of preventive maintenance requirements, repair histories, and inspection reports
  • Identify potential for cost reduction through extended parts life, reduced labor cost, and other material-related improvement techniques
