Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop standard and custom reports using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)
  • Create XML data models using SQL queries, seeded views, or OTBI extracts
  • Design templates using RTF, Excel, or PDF format with conditional logic and formatting
  • Build and optimize BIP data models to extract data from Oracle SaaS ERP tables
  • Apply filters, parameters, and runtime controls for user-configurable reports
  • Conduct unit testing of BIP reports and validate against business requirements
  • Collaborate with functional teams during SIT/UAT for report verification
  • Migrate BIP objects across environments following Oracle Cloud procedures
  • Maintain documentation for data models, report logic, and template structures
  • Implement role-based access to reports and handle bursting configurations
  • Support scheduled reports and delivery via email or document repository
  • Debug issues in report layout, data logic, or performance
  • Assist in resolving incidents raised by end users or QA teams
