Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active license in the state of practice (Board of Nursing) upon hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients and families
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient care
- Perform general nursing care to patients
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
- Coordinate patient care activities for the clinic
- Prepare equipment and assist provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing
- Observe, record, and report patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider
- Oversee appointment scheduling and ensure preferences are given to patients in emergency situations; maintain timely flow of patients
- Greet patients and prepare them for physical examination
- Screen patients for appropriate information, including obtaining health history, taking vitals, and conducting nursing assessment; document in patient chart
- Instruct patients in collection of samples and tests
- Respond to patient phone calls in a timely manner with appropriate input from the physician
- Educate patients and families about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness
- Suggest solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints
- Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials; ensure cleanliness; prepare list of medical supplies needed
- Assure appropriate labeling of pathology specimens according to lab protocol; perform quality control and maintain records on all lab testing

LPN pay range is $22.00-$31.00 per hour, and RN pay range is $27.25-$40.75 per hour, with actual pay dependent upon experience.
