Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Dialysis experience required
  • Ability to function as part of the hemodialysis health care team
  • Knowledge of FMS policies, procedures, and training
  • Adherence to FMCNA Compliance Program and patient care/administrative policies
  • Passion, dedication, knowledge, motivation, and experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage Patient Care Technicians in providing safe, effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy
  • Delegate tasks, train, and monitor direct-patient staff including LVNs/LPNs and Dialysis Assistants
  • Assess care needs and develop assignments
  • Ensure provision of quality patient care on a daily basis
  • Support FMCNA's mission, vision, values, customer service philosophy, Quality Enhancement Program (QEP), and CQI activities
  • Drive FMS culture through values and customer service standards
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships through communication
  • Take initiative to respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues
  • Direct Patient Care Technicians' provision of safe and effective chronic hemodialysis therapy in compliance with standards
