Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Board of Nursing - active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties

Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities in the clinic, including rooming, vitals, scheduling, and order entry
- Triage phone calls from patients and caregivers, routing to appropriate individuals if needed
- In collaboration with the clinic manager, be accountable for clinical operations and coordination of patient flow
- Resolve operational and scheduling discrepancies in the absence of the manager
- Coordinate resources to meet budgetary clinical goals and objectives
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels to maximize efficiency
- Participate in the employee selection process, conduct position orientation, and serve as a resource to staff
- Provide coaching for performance improvement and input in employee performance; assist staff by troubleshooting questions
- Contribute to development of Nursing Department policies and procedures
- Assist leadership in facilitating monthly clinical staff meetings
- Review and order supplies for the clinic
- Educate nurses in the use of new technologies, electronic medical records processes, and/or medical equipment
- Ensure a level of communication between nursing staff, physicians, and all other clinic departments to create positive outcomes for clinic employees and patients
