Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Experience or passion for working with adult patients experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders, and Suicidal behavior
Ability to work in a structured, therapeutic behavioral health environment requiring critical thinking and autonomous professional nursing practice
Comfortable with rotating shifts including days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays
Motivation to deliver high-quality patient care in a team environment

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, defining interventions, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends
Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions, communicating nursing care plans, coordinating with healthcare providers, and supporting patients and families
Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining patients, documenting physical/psychological/social conditions, conferring with family/friends, and establishing diagnoses, objectives, interventions, schedules, and timetables
Teach healthcare requirements by setting patient care goals, instructing patients/families/friends on conditions, medications, self-care skills, answering questions, and providing resources
Evaluate patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes, reviewing records, noting changes, re-evaluating objectives, and modifying care plans
Maintain a safe, secure, healthy patient care environment by following infection-control policies, medication administration/storage procedures, controlled substance regulations, organizational standards, policies, and legal regulations; alerting others to concerns
Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records
Maintain patient care equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and managing supplies
