Candidates must hold an active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), demonstrating a commitment to ethical and professional standards in applied behavior analysis. Prior experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism is preferred, and applicants enrolled in a graduate-level ABA program may benefit from a dedicated one-to-one BCBA mentor to support their studies and professional development.
Registered Behavior Technicians will provide one-on-one support to children diagnosed with Autism, implementing behavior intervention plans developed and overseen by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). They will assist in acquiring new skills utilizing evidence-based teaching procedures, create engaging learning environments, collect data related to client progress, and provide feedback to the BCBA team. Additionally, they will participate in training, travel between client locations, complete administrative tasks when needed, and contribute to clinical research and portfolio development.
