Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and demonstrate at least 7 years of experience in a leadership role within a non-profit organization, with a preference for experience in program management or strategic development. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Regional Managing Director will oversee and ensure strong local program implementation at HEP, including the pre-course, course, and post-course experience, to meet programmatic goals. They will drive regionally owned program elements, such as local programming and data collection for job campaigns, and serve as a check for HEP satisfaction and fit with local student needs. The RMD will develop and steward strong partnerships with HEP leadership, faculty, employers, and community-based organizations, and act as the “mayor” of the local HEP, deeply understanding the ecosystem and fostering collaboration. Additionally, they will manage a team of three full-time employees and a team of part-time interns, cultivate a collaborative team culture, and build a positive and strong presence at UML and in the greater Boston community.
