B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter graduate
5 to 8 years of experience
Experience in SAP, Oracle, and Blackline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in accounting and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and hands-on experience with TM1, Oracle Discoverer, Cognos
Ability to prioritize efficiently and be flexible
Positive demeanor with focus on continuous process improvement and openness to change
High standard of integrity and self-confidence to state and support opinions
Good understanding of reconciling bank, booking prepaids, month-end accruals, fixed assets accounting, coordinating with project managers for approvals
Well-versed in Intercompany accounting and working knowledge of TDS and GST return preparation
Self-driven, motivated, and able to guide team on new assignments
Strong knowledge of general accounting and finance, domain skills for Record to Report tower

Responsibilities

Posting journal entries
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Reviewing entries and reconciliations
Preparing cash forecasting statements
Supporting month-end closing
Preparing reports
Supporting audits
Balancing balance sheet accounts against sub-ledger or other source data, addressing reconciling items
Preparing journal entries in SAP ECC/Oracle
Month-end journal entries and adjustments in ERP
Bank and balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
Financial and statutory reporting to SEC and other regulatory authorities
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations in Blackline
Account Reconciliation: Analyze data from P&L, Balance Sheet, Statements, ledgers, accounts, etc.; prepare reports, journals, schedules, and supporting documents
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather supporting documents and data for reconciliations and financial reports
