Must be at least 18 years old
Must have valid state issued driver's license
6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months
Have no DWI/DUI conviction within the past 12 months
Must have fewer than (4) points according to the Tyson Yard Driver Evaluation System
Must be willing to submit to the Non-DOT disclosure and release form to obtain MVR
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions as the job setting is outside
Must be able to lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 pounds
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Completing initial safety check/inspection of the yard truck and getting this documented accordingly on the inspection form
Constant communication with the supervisor and receiving team to understand trucks that need backed in and out of the receiving dock during the shift
Monitoring the radio constantly and responding immediately to anything that is needed or requested by supervisor or shipping & receiving team members
Assisting receiving team members unload trailers as needed
Timely communication with the supervisor about any issues during the shift
Performing any other duties as assigned/requested by Supervisor
