Responsibilities

Execute repetitive and routine inspections, visual checks, and functional tests on inbound material using sampling procedures and tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and inspection jigs to verify compliance with drawings/blueprints/specifications
Record inspection data and applicable documentation accurately
Work closely with Supplier Quality Technicians and Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure inspections comply with parts specifications and critical characteristics
Identify and segregate non-conforming/discrepant material and support purges and internal screening activities
Communicate with Buyers and Supplier Quality Engineers on quality and/or documentation issues, keep supervisors informed, and escalate issues when needed
Stay up-to-date on all certifications and training requirements for the role
Verify quality of outbound material transferred inter-site or to customers per documented quality standards, Plexus, and customer requirements
