Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications
  • Experience with React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL or roughly-equivalent technologies
  • Extensive experience with React Native, having led or significantly contributed to mobile app projects built from scratch
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and related tooling
  • Ability to communicate clearly and write clear documentation
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies such as React, HTML, and CSS (preferred, especially for aligning mobile and web experiences)
  • Familiarity with additional mobile frameworks or libraries (preferred)
  • Contributions to open-source projects in React Native (preferred)
  • Prior experience at a startup or travel company (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Kickstart our mobile app from scratch, setting up the foundation for a fast, reliable, and beautiful React Native experience
  • Design, build, and ship high-quality features that make trading simple and intuitive on mobile
  • Collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams to turn ideas into polished, production-ready experiences
  • Help define our mobile architecture, tooling, and best practices as we grow the app and the team
  • Take ownership of your work (from prototype to production) with a focus on performance, usability, and scalability
  • Write clean, testable code and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
  • Work hand-in-hand with other engineers to move fast, learn fast, and iterate quickly
