The internship requires working 5 days a week (M-F) in the Mason, Ohio location at the Mason Bus and Innovation Ctr.
Candidates must be working towards a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Organic Chemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field, with proven experience in biocatalysis or enzymatic synthesis of small molecules or polymers and analytical characterization. Availability for the full 12-week period from May/early June to August 2026 is also required.
The role involves working closely with team members in a collaborative, dynamic environment with experienced professionals, focused on innovation in biopolymer development.
Strong candidates show eagerness to learn, excellent written and verbal communication skills, passion for innovation and problem-solving, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt to new challenges, along with the required PhD track and technical experience.
