Candidates should possess at least 5 years of programming experience writing quantitative and latency-sensitive applications in Java. A strong understanding of modern software development principles like TDD, BDD, Domain-driven design, and SOLID is essential. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics is preferable, and experience in developing financial trading applications at a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank, or Exchange is beneficial. Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to break down complex problems and attention to detail, are also required.
The Quantitative Developer will design, develop, and maintain trading engine systems and features, including risk management, pricing, and order management. They will collaborate with quantitative analysts and product team members to optimize existing and develop new models and algorithms for risk controls and user experience. Responsibilities also include maintaining and optimizing order management, margin, and risk management systems, as well as gathering requirements, planning, and executing implementation independently and as part of a team.
