Requirements

  • Diploma in mechanical engineering or technical discipline (preferred)
  • 3 years’ experience in Quality inspection in oil and gas field environment
  • Certified welding inspector (preferred)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of ASME, API 6A, API 17D & API 16A (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Require working shifts and irregular hours
  • Ability to read and apply established procedures
  • Ability to use Hardness Machine
  • Ability to perform dimensional inspection
  • Ability to review the mill certificate & perform the visual inspection
  • Good knowledge in FAT, Pressure test, Load test & Drift test

Responsibilities

  • Performing parts inspection, drawings and prints
  • Initiating non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications
  • Ensuring that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements
  • Initiating corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature
  • Complying to HSE & Quality policy
  • Effectively participate in HSE and Quality programs and training as assigned
