Requirements

Middle school certificate
One (1) year of related experience in manufacturing process; two (2) or more years preferred
Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend) and HLA product builds
Advanced electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards (preferred)
IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification or equivalent
Advanced reading, writing, and math skills (12th grade level)
Inspection skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain (incomplete in description, but implied)

Responsibilities

Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify cause of quality issues
Enter standardized information into GSF
Supervise work area according to 5S standards
Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production
Visually inspect sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools, lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection
Keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when needed
