Requirements

  • Middle school certificate
  • One (1) year of related experience in manufacturing process; two (2) or more years preferred
  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend) and HLA product builds
  • Advanced electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards (preferred)
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification or equivalent
  • Advanced reading, writing, and math skills (12th grade level)
  • Inspection skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain (incomplete in description, but implied)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in root cause analysis activities to identify cause of quality issues
  • Enter standardized information into GSF
  • Supervise work area according to 5S standards
  • Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production
  • Visually inspect sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools, lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection
  • Keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when needed
