Requirements

  • Middle school certificate
  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend)
  • Six months of related experience in manufacturing process (one or more years preferred)
  • Intermediate electronic manufacturing experience, including knowledge of workmanship standards (preferred)
  • Advanced reading, writing, and math skills (12th grade level)
  • Inspection skills
  • Knowledge of PCBA and HLA product builds
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information
  • Must complete training and become certified for Quality Ass (incomplete in description)

Responsibilities

  • Participate as required on root cause activities
  • Enter standardized information into GSF
  • Supervise work area according to 5S standards
  • Perform routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of production
  • Visually inspect sub-assemblies and HLA level products using a magnifier or other tools, lot sampling methods, or 100% inspection
  • Keep supervisors informed and escalate issues when needed
