Requirements

B.Tech / Diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and final quality
Strong knowledge of API & QMS standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for Final Inspection
Monitor verification of various instruments as per requirements
Report and verify Non-conformances and their root cause analysis
Monitor NPD Parts and their standard requirements
Responsible for final inspection of all types of products according to work authorization, drawings, and client PO requirements
Responsible for product release according to product release procedure and verify document package according to client PO
Responsible for TPI inspection witness at different stages according to client approved QAP & PO requirement
Responsible for TPI inspection witness planning at threader location according to outsource threading QAP
Conduct timely testing at Internal Lab
Calibrate Instruments & co-ordinate with External agency
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards
Supervise and train quality control Engineers and Inspectors, ensuring they are knowledgeable about quality standards and procedures
Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve team performance and ensure adherence to quality protocols
Continuously monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process improvements and enhance product quality
Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions
Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance metrics to senior management
