Requirements

  • Bachelor, MBA or Advanced degree from an accredited University or College in Microbiology or applicable field
  • Minimum 4 years working experience within a Laboratory, preferably Quality Control Laboratory
  • Strong and accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to lead initiatives to improve ways of working in a laboratory through effective communication with local and international team
  • Effective problem identification and solving skills
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20lbs frequently up to 35lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand or sit continuously for up to 3 hours at a time
  • Ability to use hand fine motor skills to complete lab tests

Responsibilities

  • Set up quality routines for the new QC Laboratory according to Quality Management Systems, including installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Review and develop all types of analytical methods and SOPs to be used for the start-up of the operations
  • Perform investigations and deviation management according to Quality Management Systems
  • Build expertise for analytical activities in the Laboratory to gain enough knowledge to train peers
  • Lead and coordinate activities on site during the receiving and start-up of the laboratory
