Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as QEA Manager with applying quality management expertise, including schedule management, complex problem resolution, or performance management
  • 5+ years of experience with developing or managing executive-level documentation and QA Metrics
  • 5+ years of experience building and managing a high-performing QEA team in Retail Domain
  • Experience with Test Environment Management, Test data management, Test strategies and testing methodologies
  • Experience with managing QA team in Agile, waterfall and Hybrid models of project execution
  • Experience with utilizing quality assurance and management tools, systems, or software
  • Experience working and managing distributed teams (Onsite, Offshore and near shore)
  • Experience with analyzing project-specific business metrics, including procurement data, staffing data, or financial data
  • Apply a wide variety of project management techniques to effectively support the program’s technical staff and achieve program success including but not limited to risk management, demand management and resource planning
  • Extensive experience in all testing aspects (RBT, Performance and automation testing)
  • Strong advocate of reusable components (process and technical)
  • Strong experience in API, Web UI, SAAS and desktop applications testing
  • Knowledge of JavaScript-based Web UI automation frameworks
  • Experience with any scripting language – JAVA/Java script/python preferred
  • Experience with DevOps process and implementing QA automation in CI/CD Pipeline
  • Knowledge of 508 compliance standards (Additional)
  • PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma, CCMP, or CISA Certifications (Additional)
  • Extensive experience in test automation tools like Rest Assured, Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber (Additional)
  • Expertise working on Java-based automation frameworks and designing and building tools/utilities (Additional)
  • Expertise in Performance Testing using JMeter/LoadRunner/Neo load (Additional)
  • External Technical Certifications (Preferably Cloud Based) (Additional)
  • Experience with supporting design initiatives for governance models, cyber policy, or business process updates and improvements (Additional)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall quality of the projects under Supply Chain, Merchandising and Core IT Systems at Family Dollar
  • Engage with Solution Delivery Leaders, Business stakeholders, Development leads to ensure the success of solution implementation
  • Manage the QEA Team and work in collaboration with team members across all parts of the program to support high-quality, on-time in full delivery of the projects
  • Review QA deliverables and serve as the final approver of deliverables prior to project sign off
  • Responsible for continuous improvement efforts in the IT QA department in accordance with industry best practices
  • Work with Solution Delivery Leaders, project managers and product owners in scoping the role the QA team in the project
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining all quality assurance and independent verification and validation artifacts
  • Review all QA and QE specific deliverables and facilitate sign-offs as applicable
