Responsibilities

  • Audit engines for compliance to appropriate documentation during various stages of the build process
  • Accurately record all engine non-conformances in the AQE system
  • Communicate found engine non-conformances to the appropriate person for repair
  • Work closely with assembly personnel, support groups, and assembly management to meet product quality goals and objectives
  • Assist in quality functions outside of the audit process as needed
  • Rotate throughout various quality gates in the assembly areas
  • Train in multiple areas
  • Learn Caterpillar Systems and use them appropriately (MESA, AQE, etc.)
