QA Automation Engineer

Position Overview

Vantage is seeking a motivated QA Automation Engineer to join a growing team and make a significant impact. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts for functional regression coverage using the Playwright framework for both UI and REST APIs, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. The position also requires creating and improving testing-related documentation, actively participating in various testing activities, and collaborating with the automation group to enhance regression coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional regression coverage using the Playwright framework for UI and REST APIs.
• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and improve testing-related documentation.
• Actively participate in functional, system, integration, and regression testing activities.
• Collaborate with the automation group to automate features for enhanced regression coverage.

Qualifications & Experience

Vantage is looking for individuals who are passionate about building great products and possess a strong understanding of fundamental principles. The following are areas of experience we value, but we are open to training candidates in areas where they may have less exposure:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 or more years of experience in a QA environment and test automation.
• Skilled in automating the QA process for both UI and API testing.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or equivalent.
• Experience with testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., CircleCI).
