Candidates should possess 4+ years of QA engineering experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to automated testing, and demonstrated proficiency in building code-based automation frameworks. Experience with UI automation frameworks, Selenium and Java, or Cypress and JavaScript is required, along with professional SaaS experience, particularly in customer and user-facing test experience. Hands-on experience crafting test strategies, test plans, and test cases is essential, as is efficiency in effort estimation, planning, prioritization, and time management.
The QA Automation Engineer will work closely with development teams to create automation strategies and deployment processes, integrating automation testing protocols with existing code and engineering processes. They will design, develop, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests, while also performing automated and manual testing efforts for Writer and its extensions/integrations. Maintaining and improving automation frameworks, conducting operational and performance tests, and communicating in a clear and concise manner are key responsibilities, alongside proactively taking initiative on assigned projects and tasks.
