Requirements

  • Exceptional German and English communication skills (French, Spanish or Italian would be a plus)
  • Proven track record of managing international PR campaigns and events in the tech or SaaS industry
  • Public speaking coaching skills to transform executives into compelling speakers

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan and conceive impactful PR campaigns, ROI-led, in line with brand image and business objectives on the German market
  • Maintain a strong, current understanding of the German media landscape
  • Leverage understanding of the German startup & fintech ecosystem and networking skills to proactively monitor political and industry developments, transforming insights into strategic recommendations
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key media in technology, business and national press in Germany
  • Manage and prepare interview process for key local spokespersons
  • Brief and manage day-to-day the local public relations agency for successful execution and analysis of all communication activities
  • Develop editorial content to increase share of voice and ensure consistency of Qonto’s messaging: PR releases, speeches, Q&As, bylines, keynotes etc
  • Align and integrate plans with marketing, social, CS, legal and other business and brand stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Global communications team to deliver strategic communications plans across owned and earned channels
  • Strengthen relationships with key media and lead local PR campaigns, supporting regional media strategies
  • Work hand in hand with Malte, the Managing Director for Central Europe, and accompany him in all his public communications
