Requirements

  • Experienced licensed Therapists, including LCSWs, LMFTs, LMHCs, LPCs, LCPCs, LPCCs
  • Necessary licensure to practice independently in the state(s) where they intend to work (e.g., Washington D.C.); no supervision or supervision toward licensure provided
  • Active and unrestricted state license; willingness and ability to obtain additional state licensure as requested (paid for by Talkiatry)
  • Demonstrated experience caring for a diverse mix of patients receiving mental health treatment for anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions
  • Excellent clinical knowledge, communication, and organizational skills
  • Technical proficiency with the ability to learn new or streamlined EMR tools

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychotherapy and coordinated care for patients
  • Collaborate with a team of providers (psychiatrists, nurse practitioners) to diagnose, manage, and treat patients using a wide variety of interventions and modalities
  • Work independently and collaborate with a team of behavioral health providers and support staff
  • Utilize custom technology, including an integrated EMR, for patient messaging, tracking progress, and gaining insights into outcomes
  • Ensure patient needs are met by listening, communicating clearly, addressing concerns, coordinating care, and taking accountability for outcomes
  • Engage in continuous improvement by seeking feedback, participating in professional development, and implementing evidence-based practices
  • Practice to the highest ethical standards in your discipline
  • Commit to high-quality, accessible, cost-effective health care
