Requirements

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification required
  • Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
  • 1 year of psychiatry practice required
  • Licensed and living in the state in which practicing (Massachusetts)
  • Ability to treat clients 14 years old and up
  • Ability to go into the office at least 1 day per week
  • Complete in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a certification exam
  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus
  • Three years of experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
  • Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
  • Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
  • Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
  • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
  • Provide care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more (primarily adults and adolescents)
  • Treat ADHD clients as enrolled in the ADHD Clinic (no quotas)

This is a Fee for Service (W2) position with a range of $147,000-$212,000 per year based on 25-35 clinical hours per week. There is also a $7500 Ramp Stipend/Sign-on bonus for clinicians providing 25 clinical hours or more per week.
