Requirements

  • University graduate (Bachelor's degree) or equivalent or higher
  • Business level English speaking and writing
  • Japanese: fluent
  • Basic knowledge about contracts in plant business
  • Approximately 5 years of experience as a technical job (engineering, design, machinery, manufacturing engineer, etc.)
  • Experience working closely with other departments
  • Experience in deadline-driven tasks
  • Experience in report creation
  • Some experience in presentations in English
  • Clear, reasonable, and challenging target setting for group members

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of proposals from selection to contract agreement and handover to project execution teams, through review meetings and center management approval
  • Create accurate and high-quality proposal schemes
  • Supervise, guide, and advise staff to improve engineers' skills and growth
  • Lead the local proposal team with expertise and coordinate with other departments and global E&C solution centers as needed
  • Lead proposals while communicating with the estimation team during the proposal period
  • Ensure proposals and quotations follow AL Global E&C Solutions Organization procedures and instructions, in collaboration with the project manager
  • Supervise proposal engineers to ensure sufficient input for A and B meeting reports
  • Encourage proposal engineers to share good practices to improve efficiency and minimize inefficient work
  • Manage effective analysis and feedback competition results to the team
