The Project Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of cross-functional projects, managing time, cost, and quality. This includes ensuring adherence to escalation pathways, defining responsibilities for secondary leads when necessary, and demonstrating financial stewardship through contract understanding, resource alignment, and Out-of-Scope activity management. The role involves establishing and managing customer expectations, driving risk identification and issue resolution, ensuring project team compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements, and managing vendors. Additionally, the Project Lead must effectively delegate, prioritize workloads, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
