Requirements

Minimum of 5-8 years of environmental graphic design, wayfinding, and placemaking experience preferred
Experience with concept through construction administration phases of work
Strong presentation skills to communicate strategies and solutions
Project management, time management and organizational skills to lead and service multiple, concurrent projects
Expertise in code research and requirements related to signage, wayfinding and environmental graphic elements
Expertise in Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD Tools)
Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other 3D modeling
Familiarity with fabrication, installation techniques, materials and construction specifications required
Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering plans
Ability to plan and execute project work plans, including scope definition, project strategy, deliverables, and staffing resources
Experience working on projects involving multiple disciplines
Strong ideation skills, critical thinking, and strategic thinking
Self-motivation and ability to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

Research, strategy, and concept development for environmental graphics, wayfinding, and placemaking solutions
Design phase coordination, including design documentation, production-ready art files, and bid coordination
Review shop drawings, print proofs, and/or samples
Lead implementation phase coordination, including punch lists, project close-out activities, and financial review
Develop and manage project work plans to meet scope, hours, and deliverables
Ensure financial success of projects through frequent review of project budget reports, pre-billing reports, and invoices
Present design solutions and project information to clients and stakeholders
Coordinate with production design staff to document design and prepare production-ready art files
Prepare and distribute Request for Proposals for implementation scope of work
Assist client in reviewing and awarding bids
Lead implementation phase coordination, including punch lists, project close-out activities
