Experience leading design and development of product system architectures in automotive systems

Experience conducting risk assessments, FMEA, and identifying hazards, vulnerabilities, and threats
Skills in developing validation and verification plans, test cases, procedures, and acceptance criteria
Ability to establish and maintain configuration management processes
Proficiency in using Polarion for managing requirements, test cases, and verification
Knowledge of implementing On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) standards and protocols
Experience configuring, analyzing, and validating Controller Area Network (CAN) communication networks

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of product system architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and industry standards
Define the overall structure, components, interfaces, and behaviors of complex automotive systems to meet functional and non-functional requirements
Analyze the capabilities and limitations of product systems to ensure performance, reliability, and safety
Gather, analyze, and prioritize stakeholder requirements to define clear and comprehensive system requirements
Develop and document system requirements using standardized formats and tools such as DOORS for traceability and validation
Define and manage interfaces between system components, subsystems, and external entities, including hardware, software, and communication protocols
Utilize MBSE methodologies and tools such as SysML to model, simulate, and analyze system architectures and behaviors
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards, vulnerabilities, and threats to system integrity, reliability, and safety
Develop validation and verification plans to ensure system requirements are validated and verified
Define test cases, procedures, and acceptance criteria to assess system performance, functionality, and compliance
Establish and maintain configuration management processes to manage changes to system architecture, components, and configuration
Perform FMEA to identify potential failure modes, effects, and likelihood of occurrence
Use SysML to model system architectures, requirements, behaviors, and interactions for system-level analysis and design
Use Polarion to manage system requirements, test cases, and verification activities
Implement On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) standards and protocols to monitor and diagnose vehicle systems
Configure, analyze, and validate Controller Area Network (CAN) communication networks for automotive systems
