Requirements

Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science with relevant coursework in cybersecurity and an expected graduation date in Winter 2026/Spring 2027
Experience with Python, Java, Go, or C++
Familiarity with security tools such as SAST, DAST, dependency scanners, and container security platforms
Understanding of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and secure coding principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scripts and tools to automate vulnerability detection, triage, and remediation
Assist in analyzing and prioritizing vulnerabilities from internal scans, penetration tests, and bug bounty reports
Participate in manual and automated reviews to identify and mitigate security flaws in our codebase
Investigate emerging threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies relevant to our technology stack
Create and maintain internal documentation, including threat models, remediation guides, and best practices
Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and promote secure coding practices
