Candidates should possess 5-8 years of experience as a Product Designer, thriving in fast-paced, complex problem spaces, and demonstrating deep product thinking with a strong sense of ownership. They should have an intuitive understanding of the crypto trading landscape, including familiarity with major crypto exchanges, DeFi protocols, and on-chain activity, and a demonstrated awareness of regulatory considerations affecting crypto trading. Strong knowledge of market trends, liquidity dynamics, and key financial instruments in crypto is also required, along with a passion for the crypto market and firsthand experience trading or investing in digital assets, including the ability to articulate investment theses behind tokens they hold.
The Product Designer will own the end-to-end design process for derivatives and event contract products, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and quantitative analysts to translate market needs into intuitive and effective trading interfaces. They will dismantle complex financial product challenges and reconstruct them into experiences that are almost invisible, challenging existing design paradigms with insightful questions. Furthermore, they will conduct user research with active traders to refine product experiences, iterate quickly on feedback and data insights, and navigate the intricate landscape between traditional finance and emerging crypto platforms, ensuring clarity, speed, and trust in every interaction.
