Requirements

  • Technical background suitable for iOS/Android engineering or Product Design (determined during intake interview)
  • Interest in developing innovative features for mobile apps (iOS with SwiftUI or Android with Kotlin, or UI/UX design)

Responsibilities

  • Develop an innovative feature or tools to help users discover people in new ways, in collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, and Analytics teams
  • Work on Product Design or mobile engineering (iOS or Android), with scope defined in intake based on background and interests
  • For iOS/Android focus: Build prototypes with SwiftUI (iOS) or Kotlin (Android); integrate Tinder design guidelines and animations; research push-notifications, in-app prompts, and micro-interactions
  • For Product Design focus: Analyze user problems, translate to hypotheses and solutions; design UI/UX; collaborate on feature specification
  • Deliver: Proof of Concept (feature spec or working app flow); research and recommendations on iOS/Android architecture; documentation (wireframes, mock-ups, API schemas, flowcharts); final presentation with lessons learned and PoC demo
  • Work in an agile, multidisciplinary team with weekly check-ins, demos, and feedback loops
