3+ years designing user-focused native mobile products
Designed and shipped native iOS and Android apps that are in the hands of users
Portfolio showcasing impact, processes, sketches, collaboration, and reflection, with at least two detailed case studies
Experience taking large problems from zero to launch and iterating based on real-world feedback and data
Experience conducting user research without relying on a dedicated research team, including facilitating user interviews and tests, digging through behavioral data, and summarizing findings to identify trends and make recommendations
Ability to communicate the “why” behind design decisions to partners across product, engineering, and leadership
Data-oriented mindset focused on improving user experience
Collaborative approach motivated by team wins over individual credit
Willingness to seek out and provide meaningful feedback for growth

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design process and ship experiences across mobile and web platforms
Work cross-functionally with product and engineering partners, facilitate design discussions, and ensure design quality
Work iteratively to define problems and quickly find solutions
Speak with customers frequently, collect insights, test assumptions, and translate research takeaways into meaningful outcomes
Craft intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web
Help evolve and grow the design practice at GameChanger, including contributing to the design system, participating in design critiques, sharing inspirational resources, and aiding in brainstorms
Question the status quo and advocate for change
