Responsibilities

The Produce Associate will be responsible for maintaining and operating the produce department by cutting, slicing, and preparing merchandise according to established standards, weighing, packaging, and labeling products, and handling spoiled or damaged goods. They will also ensure proper product rotation, merchandising, and stocking, notify the Manager of supply needs, practice suggestive selling, maintain department cleanliness, follow PPE and safety guidelines, and adhere to food safety and cleaning expectations, as well as potentially assisting in other departments as needed.
