Requirements

  • Proven experience in implementing and improving Process Safety Management (PSM) systems
  • Solid understanding of risk identification and mitigation techniques
  • Knowledge of failure mechanisms, protection systems, and their design principles
  • Hands-on experience in engineering design and optimization across various unit operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • A proactive mindset, team spirit, and commitment to continuous learning and development

Responsibilities

  • Managing and supporting a wide range of process safety activities across the Duxford site
  • Driving the implementation of a sustainable process safety culture in partnership with EHS and PSM teams
  • Ensuring alignment with Huntsman’s Process Safety Standards, Procedures, and Guidelines
  • Participating in Root Cause Analysis and incident investigations to identify and mitigate risks
  • Supporting the commissioning and safe start-up of engineering projects
  • Collaborating with the Huntsman Process Safety Centre of Excellence to develop and deploy best practices
  • Leading initiatives that promote continuous improvement in process safety performance
