Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field, along with 7+ years of experience in Java development. Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related technologies is required, as well as a solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL and Dynamo, AWS, and server-side technologies. Familiarity with CI/CD processes, containerization, and Agile SDLC framework, along with knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, PowerMock, Mockito) and serverless frameworks (Lambda) is also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Principal, Software Engineering will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure applications using Spring Boot and related technologies. They will contribute to Microservices architecture, implement and enhance RESTful/Microservice APIs, develop high-quality solutions aligned with the roadmap, ensure thorough evaluation and debugging of software applications, and maintain application security. The role also includes coaching and mentoring junior developers, participating in Agile teams, keeping up with industry trends, and optimizing application performance while troubleshooting issues.
