Requirements

  • Proficiency in leading contract testing strategies (e.g., Pact) for API compatibility across microservices and external integrations
  • Experience designing performance, scalability, and resilience testing frameworks for distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and serverless workloads
  • Knowledge of integrating security testing (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) into CI/CD pipelines, with compliance to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Familiarity with observability validation practices for logs, metrics, and traces
  • Experience driving chaos engineering initiatives (AWS Fault Injection Simulator, Gremlin) for fault tolerance and disaster recovery
  • Expertise in accessibility testing aligned with WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards, ARIA roles, and tools like axe-core
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS deployment workflows
  • Knowledge of evaluating and introducing AI-assisted testing tools for test generation, defect prediction, and risk-based testing
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills to foster technical excellence and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall test architecture strategy across enterprise platforms, microservices, and cloud-native applications
  • Design scalable, maintainable, and future-ready quality engineering frameworks, embedding testing into every stage of the software development lifecycle
  • Define and enforce quality engineering standards, coding guidelines, and architectural patterns for test automation across multiple product lines
  • Partner with engineering leadership, product owners, and DevOps teams to establish best-in-class practices for automation, performance, security, accessibility, and resilience testing
  • Architect enterprise-level test automation frameworks for backend services, APIs (REST), and frontend applications
  • Lead contract testing strategy to ensure API compatibility
