Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of software application development experience (financial/asset management industry experience is a plus)
BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
Extensive Middle Tier Application Development using Java Spring/Springboot, Streaming and Messaging technologies (Kafka), authentication framework, and SQL (Oracle preferred)
Front End Application Development using Angular
Exposure to Blockchain technologies like Web3, smart contract development (Solidity, Rust), cryptography (advantage)
Ability to apply standard processes: Unit testing, Automation (Karate), ATDD, DevOps, CI/CD, design, and code reviews
Exposure to cloud technologies: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (advantage)
Demonstrated experience working on Finance-related software projects focusing on asset management
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills to influence decisions across all levels
Promotes learning mindset, stays abreast of emerging trends in technology
Ability to work with globally distributed teams, across time zones, and travel for workshops/planning

Responsibilities

Provide technology solutions by developing software applications with solid understanding of business functions
Display full understanding of software development process: analysis, design, development, system/integration testing, problem resolution, and planning
Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation
Drive culture of innovation, research, and technical excellence
Hands-on, lead-by-coding leadership and mentoring a team of developers
Collaborate with architects, business partners, engineering/product managers, blockchain engineers, and full stack engineers
Build Java Spring/Springboot microservice backend and Angular UI running in EKS clusters in AWS
Proactively share knowledge, expertise, perspectives, and nurture learning culture across team and organization
