Headspace is offering a one to two-year Post-Master’s Associate role for individuals interested in providing teletherapy services within a collaborative care environment. This position is designed for candidates to gain skills in innovative care and effective service delivery to clients across the United States. Associates will learn about Headspace’s unique service delivery model, collaborate with mental health coaches, and utilize in-app content to help members achieve their treatment goals. The program provides an immersive experience in teletherapy and measurement-based, collaborative care, fostering collaboration with professionals across the organization and offering insights into the functions of a digital health company. Headspace is committed to providing outstanding training, supervision, and mentorship, with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, emphasizing anti-racist and culturally responsive care.

The telehealth clinical post-master’s associate training is a pioneering program equipping emerging therapists with advanced competencies in evidence-based, culturally responsive, and measurement-based care within a digital health framework. Associates will engage in intensive clinical work, honing teletherapy and remote assessment skills, and receive in-depth training on digital tools and methodologies. The training supports the development of a generalist, adaptable, and agile therapeutic skillset. The program emphasizes integrating cultural considerations into treatment plans for diverse populations and utilizing real-time data to inform therapeutic progress and interventions. This program prepares therapists for the evolving landscape of digital mental health care, positioning them as leaders in telehealth and culturally attuned therapy.

Requirements

  • Must have completed either a COAMFTE accredited program or a CSWE accredited program.
  • Associates will work closely with an LMFT-S, an LCSW-S, and a team of supervising psychologists to complete supervised clinical experience towards professional licensure.
