Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role encompassing Group Consolidation. They must demonstrate strong technical skills in both GAAP and IFRS, complemented by excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills, and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in audit and knowledge of software and information technology markets would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Portfolio Controller will be responsible for consolidating Portfolio financial data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, supporting local Finance teams during the close process, and serving as the first point of contact for Portfolio queries. They will prepare monthly/quarterly consolidated group accounts (IFRS), review consolidated financial data, prepare Portfolio management packs for executive teams, and manage monthly management fee allocations and recharges. Furthermore, the role involves training Finance teams in corporate accounting policies, ensuring group reporting compliance with internal controls, standardizing accounting practices, and performing ad-hoc project work while occasionally traveling to existing offices and potentially working unsocial hours to meet reporting demands.
