Requirements

Minimum age of 18
Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record
Minimum of 1 year experience in snow removal
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment
Knowledge of automotive and mechanic problem solving
Knowledge of State and Federal DOT regulations
Pre-employment drug test administered at the local hospital
Ability to walk, talk, see, hear, and smell regularly
Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls frequently
Capable of frequent wrist, elbow and shoulder twisting and pulling movements
Capable of occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs., and frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Plow roads, parking lots, and employee housing area
Maintain safety of the boulevard by assessing conditions and plowing and/or applying road salt when appropriate
Safely operate Crystal Mountain vehicles and equipment, including heavy equipment
Upkeep of Crystal Mountain Boulevard and Crystal Mountain Resort parking areas and roads with close attention to detail
Properly assess road conditions and make appropriate maintenance decisions
