Requirements

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), and one year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. They must be able to read and write, understand and follow the direction of supervisors, and be in good physical condition, including the ability to routinely lift and manipulate dry ice blocks weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

The Plant Operator will be responsible for loading and packaging dry ice daily according to quality standards, complying with all safety and quality policies and procedures, performing clean-up functions such as sweeping, washing, and trash removal, and adhering to established Airgas policies and procedures. They will also be expected to perform other duties as required by their supervisor, ensuring the safe performance of their job and maintaining a secure supply of dry ice for various industries.
