Underwriting experience (minimum 5 years) in Financial Lines
A good understanding of the Dutch Financial Lines marketplace
Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills

Responsibilities

Develop and grow both new and existing portfolio arrangements for PI/Cyber business in the SME segment via distribution partners
Provide excellent service to brokers through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach to underwriting
Generate new business by expanding broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market – in line with a sales plan established with manager
Contribute and be responsible for (a part of) FLOW growth target and provide accurate monthly management information including rationales behind submissions statistics, bind rate, average premium, and total premium
Continuously identify and develop best practices and procedures plus look for new ways to improve the service and product offering
Support in departmental product development efforts within the scope of AIG’s product development guidelines
Assess new and renewal business for respective focus area
