Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school with a valid California medical license
  • Current DEA certificate and CPR certification
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in clinical practice
  • Ability to supervise Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality healthcare to female patients, focusing on reproductive health
  • Monitor patients throughout prenatal, natal, and postnatal stages
  • Perform necessary tests and prescribe treatments
  • Deliver babies using the safest and most appropriate methods
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to develop, implement, and review clinic policies and services, especially those related to federally funded programs
  • Report to the Chief Medical Officer
