Requirements

  • Relevant and active LPC licensed in PA
  • Certified and/or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT and Motivational Interviewing
  • Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, positive relationship building skills and critical analysis
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
  • Well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting and concurrent documentation
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant and active LPC licensed in NJ
  • Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
  • Experienced in caring for patients with co-occurring substance use disorders

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations
  • Develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria
  • Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality
  • Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by standards of care
  • Participate in treatment meetings, consultation, and collaboration with members of clinical team
  • Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours
