Requirements

  • Ability to serve as primary operator and owner of assigned work center
  • Knowledge of cGMP documents, standard work documents, SOPs, and other instructional materials
  • Intermediate mechanical or technical skills for equipment adjustments, minor repairs, replacing parts, and assisting in rebuilding/modifying equipment
  • Capability to perform basic measures, weigh, process, and inspect product/materials
  • Training compliance (implied through role duties and maintaining training compliance)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate packaging equipment at various work stations on assigned work center in accordance with cGMP, standard work documents, and other instructional materials; perform basic measures; weigh, process, and inspect product/materials; maintain adequate material/supply levels; monitor product variables and attributes to ensure quality standards
  • Ensure cleaning, change over, set up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment through direct performance and contributions of others, within required timeframes and per documentation
  • Execute basic equipment adjustments and minor repairs during production runs; perform tasks requiring intermediate mechanical/technical skills; coordinate and schedule preventative and predictive maintenance; escalate issues to technical teams
  • Participate in autonomous maintenance activities, procedure development, revision, and documentation as required by documentation
  • Continuously monitor equipment, staging areas, supplies, and materials to identify and resolve issues affecting production, quality, safety, or waste; use transporting equipment safely; assist in maintaining inventory and reducing waste/costs
  • Accurately maintain documentation for equipment operations, cleanings, calibrations, adjustments, troubleshooting, GMP documents, logs, Tier 1 boards, and other records; monitor and coach crew members on record keeping accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure proper escalation of issues to management and maintain training compliance
