Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, or a Junior College/CFGS in SysAdmin and Networking. Essential technical knowledge includes networking, routing, switching, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac). Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish is required, along with a willingness to travel up to 50% within Barcelona for customer site work. Preferred qualifications include technical knowledge of OT technologies, networking, and protocols, relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCNA, Security+, MCITP/MCSE, ITIL Foundations), a Cybersecurity Master's Degree, experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS technologies, security platforms (AV, EDR, Orchestration), programming languages like Python or Javascript, knowledge of common exploits and attacks, experience with cloud security tooling (AWS, Azure, Google), and familiarity with DevOps culture.

Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity Analyst will detect and respond to information security incidents and vulnerabilities. They will maintain and follow procedures for security events, monitor and analyze log sources for threat hunting, and configure and manage operating systems, switches, routers, and firewalls. Responsibilities also include producing security vulnerabilities reports and participating in security investigations and mitigations.
