This is a full-time onsite position at Kitware’s office in Clifton Park, NY, requiring 32 hours per week during college semesters and approximately 40 hours per week during summers. Remote work is not available.
Candidates must be completing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering in December 2025 (Spring 2025 and 2026 graduates considered), have demonstrable programming experience from undergraduate projects or internships, programming experience in C++ and Python, strong communication skills, US Citizenship, and willingness to obtain a security clearance.
Kitware reimburses 100% of educational expenses for the master’s degree, including tuition, books, equipment, fees, and supplies, subject to tuition reimbursement payback requirements.
Strong candidates are new graduates completing a bachelor’s in computer science or computer engineering by December 2025 with demonstrable programming experience in C++ and Python, strong communication skills, US citizenship, and preferably existing experience with open source software development.
