Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance (willingness to obtain and maintain a CI Poly)
Responsibilities
- Install and upgrade database servers and application tools, ensuring that the latest versions are in use
- Allocate system storage requirements
- Modify the database structure as required, following input from application developers
- Enforce policies and procedures for database security and integrity
- Manage user access permissions and privileges
- Monitor system performance and implement changes for optimization
- Perform regular database backups to ensure data recovery
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as debugging, performance tuning, and creating database reports
- Document database specifications and performance to facilitate troubleshooting and future development initiatives
